Resources if you are considering university
If you are considering certain universities or certain courses, you need to do your research to ensure you study subjects that will both assist you to get into the course and to assist you when you are at university studying the course.
In addition to the ATAR, many universities may specify other admission requirements such as: prerequisites (you must study these) – course prerequisites – subject prerequisites additional selection criteria Institutions can also indicate the HSC subjects that are: assumed knowledge - universities assume you have studied these before you start a particular tertiary course recommended studies -universities suggest you study these to prepare for your chosen tertiary course Where to find information: UAC provides information on their website.
